National Electric Coil has been serving the power generation industry for over 85 years. Not only do we repair and refurbish generators and high-voltage motors, we also manufacture and refurbish high-voltage stator coils and turbogenerator rotor windings. Project Manager

A Project Manager’s position is available at National Electric Coil, a large re-builder of power plant generators.

Duties

At quotation stage, creates tentative project work plans and obtains costing information from internal and external resources.  Upon contract award, revises, as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements, identifying resources needed and assigning responsibilities.  Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.  Reviews deliverables and progress taking corrective actions, as required, enforcing project standards and contract compliance minimizing our execution exposure and risk on project.  Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. 

Requirements

Good oral and written communication skills for customer and resource interfacing. Functional knowledge of generator components and high competency in Primavera Project Planning Software or equivalent.  Office locations Columbus, Ohio and Brownsville, Texas.  Occasional travel required. Salary commensurate with experience. Good benefits.
